Exploring the Applications of Facial Recognition Technology

September 29, 2021 • 3:00 – 4:00 pm EDT

The acceleration of facial recognition technology creates a vast array of applications for both commercial and government use. The best facial recognition technology is more accurate than humans at matching images, unlocking capabilities for companies and agencies across the United States.

CSIS invites you to a discussion on the applications of facial recognition technology featuring Jake Parker, Senior Director of Government Relations at the Security Industry Association and Jody Hardin, Acting Deputy Executive Director for Planning, Program Analysis, and Evaluation in the Office of Field Operations at U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The event will begin with opening remarks from John Boyd, Assistant Director for the Office of Biometric Identity Management at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

A previous version of this webpage incorrectly stated this event is done with general support to CSIS.
