Financing Pandemic Preparedness
Brought to you by
In the face of deep cuts to global health security programming, efforts to reform pandemic preparedness and response financing are unfolding on several fronts through the work of regional bodies and development banks, philanthropies, multilateral development banks, recipient countries, the private sector, and initiatives such as the G20 High Level Independent Panel on Pandemic Preparedness and Response. This session will assess where things stand, as 2025 draws to a close, and what we can anticipate, looking forward into 2026. The conversation will feature Elizabeth Cameron, Senior Adviser, CSIS Global Health Policy Center, Senior Advisor to the Brown Pandemic Center; and Professor of the Practice of Health Services, Policy and Practice, Brown University School of Public Health; and Amanda Glassman, Executive Advisor to the President, Inter-American Development Bank; with moderation from J. Stephen Morrison, Senior Vice President and Director, CSIS Global Health Policy Center.
