The Future of Quantum – Powering the Innovation Ecosystem from the Private Sector

June 21, 2022 • 3:00 – 4:00 pm EDT
This event is part of the CSIS Future of Quantum series to discuss and raise awareness of the vast opportunities for technological change quantum will create, while helping the private and public sector frame the policy agenda.

In November 2021, IBM announced its development of one of the most powerful quantum computers to date and in 2019, Google created the first computer to claim quantum supremacy. The private sector now leads in creating breakthroughs in quantum applications. Exploring the possibilities for technological change and innovation from the private sector is vital to understanding the future impact of quantum.

Join CSIS for an event to closer examine the role of the private sector in quantum innovation. The event will include a panel discussion with Robert Liscouski, President, CEO, and Chairman of Quantum Computing, Inc (QCI) and Jay Gambetta, Fellow and Vice President, Quantum Computing at IBM.

This event is made possible through general support to CSIS.
