The Future of Western Aid to Ukraine: A Conversation with Ambassador Dereck Hogan

The Europe, Russia, and Eurasia Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) is delighted to host Ambassador Dereck J. Hogan, Acting Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, for a conversation on Western aid to Ukraine.
Ambassador Hogan will sit down with Max Bergmann, Director of the Europe, Russia, and Eurasia Program and the Stuart Center. The conversation will focus on the Biden administration’s priorities for Ukraine aid going forward, potential obstacles, and how the administration plans to work with European allies and partners in its response to the war.
The event will take place on Friday, April 14, from 9:00 – 9:45 am. This event is part of a project run in collaboration between CSIS, the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) in London, and the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) in Oslo.
