The Global Peace Index 2018 Launch

June 6, 2018 • 2:00 – 4:00 pm EDT
Please join the CSIS Human Rights Initiative, the CSIS Project on Prosperity and Development, and the Institute for Economics and Peace for the launch of the 12th edition of the Global Peace Index (GPI). Produced annually by the Institute for Economics and Peace, the GPI helps identify and measure the attitudes, institutions, and structures that build a more peaceful society. GPI measures the peacefulness of 163 countries and territories, according to 23 indicators of militarization, ongoing conflict, and societal safety and security. Expert panelists will discuss the findings of the report as well as their implications for global peace, prosperity, and security. A reception will follow with food and soft drinks. Additional panelists will be added upon confirmation.

This event is made possible by the Institute for Economics and Peace.
