Growing the Greater San Diego Semiconductor Ecosystem
Brought to you by
This event is co-hosted onsite at the UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering.
The CSIS Renewing American Innovation program and University of California-San Diego (UCSD) are hosting a half-day symposium that feature experts panels highlighting the region’s dynamism and how the private sector, public sector, and academia in the San Diego area work together to make it the world-renowned high-tech landscape that exists today.
Organized as a series of panel discussions, the event draws together the local policy and economic development community, leading researchers from UC San Diego's Jacobs School of Engineering, and semiconductor industry participants to explore the region’s assets and capabilities and the challenges and opportunities for cooperation. Speakers will lay out the benefits of the San Diego region, and what has contributed to its status as a distinguished center for semiconductor design amid a rapidly advancing global technological competition.
This event is made possible in part by support from Qualcomm.
