On February 2, Dr. Harvey Fineberg, President of the Institute of Medicine, presented evidence of the non communicable disease transformation underway in low and middle-income countries. As all eyes turn toward the September summit, Dr. Fineberg will discuss the health and policy implications of the shifting disease burden and how the United States’ special assets can assist in dealing with this new reality.
