The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and the
Woodrow Wilson Center's Africa Program hosted Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Minister of Health for Ethiopia. Dr. Ghebreyesus reflected on the legacy of U.S.-Ethiopian partnerships in health, particularly under PEPFAR, and Ethiopia's recent major health policy innovations. He also spoke about Ethiopia's looming health challenges in the face of rising food and fuel costs, and the current global financial crisis.
