The CSIS Energy & National Security Program is pleased to host the U.S. launch of the International Energy Agency's World Energy Outlook 2017. The World Energy Outlook (WEO) is the IEA's annual report on the state of the energy sector from a global perspective, providing comprehensive analysis of the interplay between energy policy, markets, and technology development.
Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the IEA, will present the findings from WEO 2017, followed by a conversation moderated by Sarah Ladislaw.
With opening remarks by John Hess, CSIS Trustee and CEO of Hess Corporation.
