India on the Move: Infrastructure for the 21st Century (Part II)

Part of the Emerging Indian Economy Signature Speaker Series with Mr. John Flannery
Friday, July 6, 2012 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The Mantosh Sondhi Center23, Institutional AreaLodi RoadNew Delhi, India —110 003

General Electric (GE) has been in India for over 100 years, and knows that one of the critical things for India -- as for any country -- to do is recognize that infrastructure is a lynchpin and of vital importance to the economy.  Infrastructure, in many ways is “a gift that keeps on giving,”  both in the short and long term, thus its development is a critical priority for a dynamic, modernizing country like India.  And alternatively, lack of investment can really starve an economy of basic strength.

Join this conversation as Mr. John Flannery, President and CEO of GE India, explains the challenges, opportunities and recommendations of this key sector in India's modern development.
