Indian Economy 2019: Make or Break

January 17, 2019 • 10:30 am – 12:00 pm EST
India will hold its national election in the spring of 2019. Positive federal economic reforms have slowed in recent years, and government bodies are looking to expand subsidy programs to shore up political support ahead of the election. With this backdrop, key leaders from Standard & Poor’s and Moody’s will offer their views on what their respective firms are watching that could impact India’s economic development, warning signs leading up to the election, and much-needed reforms once political pressures recede.
