Innovating and Expanding Access to Finance for Small-Scale Agriculture

December 8, 2022 • 3:00 – 4:00 pm EST

Join the CSIS Americas Program for a timely conversation on improving access to financing for small-scale agriculture.

Agriculture around the world has been hit by financial, environmental, geopolitical, and supply chain disruptions, and the ability of small-scale agricultural producers to finance their ongoing enterprises has been put at risk. From ongoing health challenges, supply chain disruptions, and the global implications of war in Ukraine, innovative strategies for small-scale agricultural financing are needed now more than ever.

This event will bring together global perspectives on financial inclusion and access for small-scale farmers. It will also outline policy options for the United States, multilateral organizations, and the development community to respond to some of the greatest food and financial security questions of our time.
