Launch Conference: Wadhwani Center for AI and Advanced Technologies

May 9, 2023 • 12:30 – 5:00 pm EDT

Brought to you by

Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, advanced computing, and other emerging technologies are precipitating a technological revolution with the potential to transform the world. Geopolitical powers—with the United States and China at the forefront—are driving a new phase of global competition for industrial power, economic advantage, and strategic edge by developing and utilizing these technologies.

To keep pace with these innovations and continue to advance practical ideas to address the world’s greatest challenges, CSIS is pleased to launch the Wadhwani Center for AI and Advanced Technologies.

To mark the launch of the new Center, CSIS is hosting a half-day conference focused on the state of the field and future implications of AI.

This conference will bring together government leaders, industry executives, and AI scholars who represent diverse perspectives on the impacts of AI. Speakers will discuss topics including global AI governance and regulatory strategies, the economic effects of AI, and AI’s role in the future of national security.

Please join us online on the afternoon of May 9th to learn more about these topics and to celebrate CSIS’ new milestone at the forefront of technology and policy.

This event is made possible through support from the Wadhwani Foundation.
