Methane Reductions: Connecting Data with Action

CSIS is pleased to host Manfredi Caltagirone, Head of the UNEP IMEO, to discuss its role in collecting methane data and enabling methane reductions from the energy sector.  The conversation will be moderated by Ben Cahill (CSIS).

The International Methane Emissions Observatory (IMEO) is a data-driven initiative by the UN Environment Program (UNEP), supported from the European Commission and USG, to catalyze action on methane reductions. IMEO collects and integrates diverse data streams on methane emissions to build a global data set with unprecedented accuracy and granularity.
