Mexico at a Crossroads
The CSIS Americas Program, in partnership with Spanish newspaper El País, will host a live edition of NTN24's Club de Prensa—the premier forum on today's most urgent issues with leading experts from the Americas. During this televised event, speakers will discuss recent developments in Mexico, with a particular focus on the disappearance of dozens of Mexican students, the corruption revelations resulting from them, and the widespread protests demanding action from President Enrique Peña Nieto's administration. In light of these developments, what is the way forward for Mexico? How can Mexico balance its economic successes with its ongoing violence and insecurity?
