"My Story" Book Launch with Andrei Sannikov

Friday, June 24, 2016 10:00 am - 11:30 am
CSIS Headquarters

The Project on Prosperity and Development cordially invites you to attend the public launch of:

My Story: Belarusian Amerikanka or Elections Under Dictatorship

Ambassador Andrei Sannikov, activist, politician, and former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, will join us to discuss his new book My Story: Belarusian Amerikanka or Elections Under Dictatorship. My Story is a powerful memoir that follows Ambassador Sannikov's arrest for participating in a peaceful protest against Belarusian leader Aleksandr Lukashenka, his experiences in prison and labor camps, and his release, as well as the international media coverage of his imprisonment.

This event will feature a discussion with the author, and remarks by CSIS experts that discuss its implications for international development, human rights, and the Russia and Eurasian region. For more information on "My Story," click here.

For more information, please email us at PPD@CSIS.org.

This event is made possible by general support to the Project on Prosperity and Development.
