NATO and the EU Beyond Riga

Following on an initial meeting held in Riga, Latvia on September 15-17, a working group of leading experts on NATO and its relations with the European Union met for a two-day seminar in Berlin, Germany on December 9-10. Organized by the CSIS Brzezinski Chair in Geostrategy and with the CSIS Europe Program, this event was designed to assess the results of the NATO Riga Summit and to put forth actionable ideas and recommendations for NATO and the European Union for the years 2007-2009.
