This seminar was designed for foreign correspondents, journalism students, and others interested in the media. It assessed the reliability of U.S. media outlets as sources of information and the pitfalls and advantages of relying on them. Topics included media bias, the role of ideology in news reporting, the impact of new technology on the quality of journalism, and recommendations for using the media most effectively.
