Online Event: Building Diversity and Combating Prejudice in our Armed Forces, a Conversation with Rep. Anthony Brown (D-MD)

As the nation reckons with the aftermath of the George Floyd murder, new efforts in Congress are emerging to pull down symbols of racism and enact policies of diversity and inclusion that seek to create a level playing field for all Americans. Rep. Anthony Brown, the only member of the Congressional Black Caucus on the House Armed Services Committee, has taken the lead in pursuing these goals within the Armed Forces, sponsoring a number of provisions moving forward in this year’s National Defense Authorization Act.
