Semiconductors are the backbone of the digital economy. From the most basic consumer device to the most sophisticated AI-enabled industrial and defense systems, all digital products rely on semiconductors. Senators John Cornyn (R-TX) and Mark Warner (D-VA) recently introduced a bipartisan proposal to allocate billions of dollars to support the U.S. semiconductor manufacturing industry. During this event, the Senators will discuss the role of semiconductors, and how Federal support can play a role in maintaining U.S. competitiveness in the semiconductor industry.
