Please join us for a virtual Fireside Chat with Daniel Runde, CSIS Senior Vice President and USAID’s Deputy Administrator Bonnie Glick to launch USAID’s first-ever Digital Strategy. The Strategy charts an Agency-wide vision to advance development and humanitarian assistance through the responsible use of digital technology in a digital age.

Building on decades of USAID leadership in digital development, the strategy outlines a continued commitment to strengthen open, inclusive, and secure digital ecosystems. Digital technology, including the internet, are powerful tools that can transform lives, spur economic growth, and improve development outcomes for many. USAID is committed to ensuring that partner countries are not left behind and is working toward a future where digital technology empowers all, including the most vulnerable.

A Q&A session with online participants will follow the fireside chat.

This event is made possible through general support to CSIS.
