ORF-CSIS Dialogue

Indian and American officials and East Asian security analysts met on March 17-18 in New Delhi as part of a dialogue sponsored by CSIS and the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) of India. The roundtable explored domestic political forces and how they affect each country's East Asia policy; the rise of China; the role of Japan; development of regional institutions; problems related to the Korean peninsula and Taiwan; maritime security and transnational threats Asia; and business and energy trends. A report on the findings of the meeting will be available in May.
