Panel 1: The Evolving Threat Landscape in Europe

The war in Ukraine has caused significant impacts on Europe and across the world. This panel will address these impacts, as well as civil and military resilience, the United States’ interests in Europe, and the roles of European partners and allies in global security. The discussion will also offer recommendations to enhance European resilience and explore the United States' role in the Indo-Pacific. 

This discussion will feature His Excellency Marek Magierowski, Polish Ambassador to the U.S., John McLaughlin, former Acting and Deputy Director of Central Intelligence, and Rear Admiral Tim Woods, Defense Attaché at the British Embassy Washington. The conversation will be moderated by ISP’s Senior Fellow and Deputy Director, Emily Harding.
