July 19 – October 7, 2022

In humanitarian contexts, women and girls are often denied basic freedoms and rights, systematically excluded from decision-making mechanisms, and subjected to heightened insecurity and violence, despite being the first responders. This panel will discuss how women in crisis-affected contexts can take the lead in designing and implementing services and ways the humanitarian system can shift decision-making power, funding, and influence to local women actors.
