The CSIS Southeast Asia Program is pleased to invite you for a discussion with Secretary Perfecto Yasay, Jr., Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines. He will discuss his perspectives on Philippine foreign policy under President Rodrigo Duterte and developments in the Asia-Pacific region.
Perfecto Yasay, Jr. was appointed by President Rodrigo R. Duterte as Secretary of Foreign Affairs on June 30, 2016. Before his appointment, he served as former president Fidel V. Ramos’ chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) from 1995 to 2000. Secretary Yasay is also a practicing lawyer specializing in corporate law and securities regulation.
