The Politicization of Aid
Findings from the DARA Humanitarian Response Index

Please RSVP to Laura Hickey at LHickey@csis.org

CSIS hosted Ross Mountain, Director General, and Philip Tamminga, Head of Good Humanitarian Donorship/Humanitarian Response Index Initiative of DARA. Mr. Mountain and Mr. Tamminga will discuss the 2010 Humanitarian Response Index, including findings that reveal increasing politicization and militarization of humanitarian aid by governments. They will also outline the priorities and methodology for the 2011 Humanitarian Response Index research that is currently on-going and take questions about the current landscape of humanitarian donorship.
