Please join the CSIS Africa Program for a discussion of political developments in Uganda and the role of religious groups and leaders in national policy debates. Bishop Dr. D Zac Niringiye, former Assistant Bishop of the Diocese of Kampala, will discuss his move into political activism and offer his analysis of political trends in Uganda. Maria Burnett, senior researcher with Human Rights Watch, will consider the implications for U.S. policy.
