This event has been postponed. The event will be rescheduled following the conclusion of the partial government shutdown to allow for U.S. government participation.The CSIS Southeast Asia Program is pleased to present the Completion of Agent Orange Clean Up in Danang: Next Steps in Deepening the U.S.-Vietnam Comprehensive Partnership. The event, featuring remarks by Senator Patrick Leahy and Ambassador Ha Kim Ngoc, will commemorate the completion of environmental remediation of Dioxin (Agent Orange) at Danang Airport following a historic six-year, $110 million project between the U.S. Agency for International Development and the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense. The speakers will discuss the impacts of the project and its importance in the development of the U.S.-Vietnam Comprehensive Partnership. A full agenda with additional confirmed speakers will follow.
