Join the Freeman Chair in China Studies for a discussion on U.S.-Taiwan commercial relations

Featuring
Chuang Suo-Hang, Vice Chairman of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), Taiwan’s leading regional trade promotion organization. 

Vice Chairman Chuang will give a speech on U.S.-Taiwan ties and provide updates on trends in Taiwan’s domestic and regional economic activity. Following his remarks, Wendy Cutler, Vice President and Managing Director of the Asia Society Policy Institute’s Washington, D.C. office, will offer brief comments on Vice Chairman Chuang’s remarks and the broader context. This will be followed by a discussion moderated by Scott Kennedy, Deputy Director of the Freeman Chair in China Studies, and Director of the Project on Chinese Business and Political Economy.
