Reengineering The Turkish Economy

Ali Babacan, economy minister of Turkey, expressed confidence in his country's continuing recovery in an Oct. 1 event at CSIS. Speaking ahead of the annual IMF and World Bank meetings, Babacan confirmed IMF support for the new three-year Turkish economic program that will be presented to the European Union prior to its Dec. 17 decision on accession negotiations with Turkey.
