Replenishing GAVI in 2014

April 25, 2014 • 2:00 – 3:30 pm EDT

Please join the CSIS Global Health Policy Center for an event focusing on the upcoming GAVI Alliance replenishment process, which will officially launch in May, 2014, and lead to a pledging conference to be held toward the end of the year. Expert panelists will discuss GAVI’s achievements and challenges in accelerating developing countries’ access to new and underused vaccines during the current period of activity (2011-2015), consider possible pledging and replenishment scenarios, and identify opportunities for enhancing GAVI’s impact over the next five years.

The event will feature a new CSIS report analyzing policy options for the United States to consider in developing an approach to the replenishment, a moderated conversation with panelists, and audience questions and commentary.
