Resilience is more than disaster recovery and preparedness. True resilience enables vulnerable communities and governments to become more adaptable in the face of diverse sources of stress and crisis. Effective programming for long-term resilience bridges the divide between relief and development in a way that calls for an integrated approach. Join us for a panel discussion with development practitioners and U.S. government representatives on ways to effectively embed resilience in the development agenda. This event is held in partnership with DAI, which recently published a collection of articles recognizing the multifaceted nature of resilience challenges and the importance of elevating resilience practices within the broader development agenda.
