Rick "Ozzie" Nelson, Director of the CSIS Homeland Security and Counterterrorism Program, cordially invites you to an event:

Rethinking Identity Management:
Perspectives from Government and Industry

As the pace of technological advancement and interconnectedness has increased, proper identity management has become a growing concern. As many as 9 million Americans are victims of identity theft every year, and the annual costs of identity fraud are estimated to be as high as $48 billion. Without effective identity management, policymakers cannot differentiate between upstanding citizens and bad actors that would use networked systems to commit bank or healthcare fraud, steal identities, launch cyber attacks from positions of trust, or evade border controls. Please join the CSIS Homeland Security and Counterterrorism Program for a full-day conference to explore various perspectives on the challenges of and future for identity management.
