Roadmap to Resilience: USAID's Updated Resilience Policy
Brought to you by
On July 3, 2024, USAID released its updated Resilience Policy. This policy provides a roadmap for USAID’s work over the next decade in helping people, communities, and countries protect and improve their well-being in the face of increasingly frequent and intense shocks and stresses.
Please join the CSIS Global Food and Water Security Program on Tuesday, July 30 at 2:30PM EDT as an international expert panel discusses the enduring relevance of resilience in global development and how USAID's Resilience Policy will contribute to greater impact and more efficient implementation of our collective programming.
CSIS is pleased to welcome USAID Deputy Assistant Administrator for the Bureau for Resilience, Environment, and Food Security Mia Beers for keynote remarks, followed by a panel discussion amongst, UN FAO Deputy Director-General Beth Bechdol, USAID Somalia Mission Director Sheri-Nouane Duncan-Jones, and InterAction Interim Vice President of Global Development Policy, Advocacy, and Learning Jennifer Marron. CSIS Director of the Sustainable Development and Resilience Initiative and Senior Fellow with the Project on Prosperity and Development Noam Unger will provide closing remarks.
Following the event there will be an in-person reception with light refreshments.
