Roger McDermott examines how and why Russia’s military has turned its attention to more fully exploiting the electromagnetic spectrum by employing electronic warfare (EW) assets. He will discuss many of the key findings of extensive research in this area, including assessing current Russian EW capabilities and the future role of disruptive technologies in this domain. Mike Kofman, Research Scientist in the Russia Studies Program at CNA, will serve as discussant. Olga Oliker will moderate.
