Deborah Lee James, Secretary of the Air Force discusses the air campaign against ISIL/ISIS and the situation in Syria, as well as personnel and retention issues within the Air Force, including maternity and paternity leave with Smart Women, Smart Power moderator Nina Easton. Secretary James has 30 years of senior homeland and national security experience in the federal government and private sector. She previously served as President of Science Applications International Corporation's (SAIC) Technical and Engineering Sector.
