Renee Horne, Ford Foundation fellow and PhD candidate at the University of London, will offer her analysis of President Zuma's performance in office as he approaches the midterm of his presidency and discuss her extensive research on black economic empowerment in South Africa. Ms. Horne will draw from her career as the leading journalist with the South African Broadcasting Corporation's international news program, where she covered major events across Africa and interviewed South African political leaders including President Zuma and former president Thabo Mbeki.
