Staying Ahead in the Global Technology Race
A challenge for the next Administration is to build a long-term, bipartisan economic security strategy that balances domestics goals with international cooperation and the complexities of global markets. The CSIS Economic Security and Technology Department aims to confront the issues associated with the economic security era and present to the upcoming administration strategies and questions for how to approach economic security and technology policy.
Please join the CSIS Economic Security and Technology Department for a virtual event on October 31st from 2-4 pm ET. CSIS scholars will speak on how to protect sensitive U.S. technologies through export controls and investment screening; the role of government in reindustrialization; and technology competition, cooperation, and statecraft; while providing policy recommendations to the upcoming Administration.
This event is made possible through general support to CSIS.
