Please join the CSIS Europe, Russia, and Eurasia Program and the Jean Monnet Institute on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at  03:00pm EST at CSIS HQ, for an in-person panel discussion between Ambassador of the European Union to the U.S. Jovita Neliupšienė, former Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Dr. Karen Donfried, and the head of the European Parliament Liaison Office Walter Goetz, moderated by Max Bergmann, Director of the CSIS Europe, Russia, and Eurasia Program and Stuart Center. 

Amidst elections on both sides of the Atlantic this year, emphasizing the critical need for sustaining transatlantic unity during uncertain times, the Europe, Russia, and Eurasia Program, in collaboration with the Jean Monnet Institute, are honored to convene experts for a public event on the importance of transatlantic unity preceding the U.S. and European elections. Welcome remarks will be given by CSIS Director Max Bergmann, and Chairman of the Jean Monnet Institute, Jean-Marc Lieberherr. 

This event will take place at CSIS HQ, located at 1616 Rhode Island Avenue NW and will be livestreamed on this website.
