Please join the CSIS Africa Program for the launch of UN Peacekeeping in Africa with author and former UN peacekeeper Dr. Adekeye Adebajo. Dr. Adebajo's book traces United Nations engagement in fifteen peacekeeping missions throughout the post-Cold War period from Somalia and Rwanda to the Democratic Republic of Congo and Sudan. Dr. Adebajo will discuss the domestic and international factors that shape peacekeeping missions as well as how previous missions can provide lessons learned for future engagement.
