Please join us for a special discussion on South Korea’s 2024 National Assembly election, which occurred on April 10, with Dr. Kim Jiyoon, a distinguished political analyst celebrated for her expertise in electoral and public opinion analysis. 

Dr. Jiyoon Kim is a Senior Adviser at the Institute of Democracy Studies and Education. She is also a popular and highly acclaimed political analyst specializing in election and public opinion analysis. She was most recently the host of Jiyoon Kim’s Evening Show on TBS FM, where she discussed current issues with high-profile politicians and opinion leaders.  Prior to TBS FM, Dr. Kim hosted MBC’s 100 Minute Debate, the most respected political debate programme in Korea. Previously, Dr. Kim was a senior research fellow in the Center for Public Opinion and Quantitative Research at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies. Her research interests include elections and voting behavior, American politics, and political methodology.  She received her Ph.D. in political science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
