US Army’s Priorities with GEN McConville, Army Chief of Staff

Gen McConville, the Army Chief of Staff, joins CSIS’s Senior Adviser Mark Cancian to discuss the U.S. Army’s priorities (People, Readiness, and Modernization) and the challenges facing the Army in the years ahead. Specific topics to be discussed are Project Convergence, the key modernization priorities of Long-Range Precision Fires and Future Vertical Lift, the impact of Army Futures command, the upcoming FY 2023 Army budget, and the balance between the Army’s size and mission requirements.
