U.S.-ASEAN Relations at 45: A Discussion with Lim Jock Hoi, Secretary-General of ASEAN

The CSIS Southeast Asia Program is honored to host the inaugural CSIS ASEAN Leadership Forum featuring Dato Lim Jock Hoi, the 14th secretary-general of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). The event will take place on September 26 from 3:00  to 4:00 pm. Celebrating 45 years of the U.S.-ASEAN partnership, Secretary-General Lim will address the state and future of U.S-ASEAN dialogue relations, commitments to ASEAN centrality, and how both parties can work together to meet pressing challenges. The CSIS ASEAN Leadership Forum provides a platform for senior officials from Southeast Asia to address pressing issues of the day before a Washington, DC-based policy audience.
