Careers in Development Featuring Will Davis
Will Davis most recently served as the Executive Director of the USGLC, a non-profit advocating in support of U.S. engagement overseas, and the resources necessary to support such engagement. He joined the USGLC after holding key leadership positions with the U.S. government and in international organizations, including the United Nations and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). During his tenure with the UN, Mr. Davis served as the Director of the UN Development Program’s Washington Office, and prior to that as the Director of the UN Information Center in Washington. In these roles, he was the UN’s key liaison with the Administration and Congress as well as think tanks, NGOs, media, and the academic, diplomatic, and business communities. Mr. Davis also has extensive experience in the executive branch, serving both with the State Department and the National Security Council. With the OECD, Mr. Davis led the organization’s public affairs efforts in Washington and then served as Deputy Director of Public Affairs at the OECD’s headquarters in Paris. Mr. Davis began his career working in the Executive Office of the President’s Office of Administration, along with assignments at the Treasury Department and the Department of Defense. He graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor’s degree in political science and also earned his Master’s in Public Policy Studies from Duke.
