The United States and Indonesia share a robust and comprehensive partnership. While U.S.-Indonesia relations are stronger than ever, there are still many opportunities for more enhanced cooperation in the years ahead. The Sumitro Chair for Southeast Asia Studies examines this relationship in our newest report, A U.S.-Indonesia Partnership for 2020: Recommendations for Forging a 21st Century Relationship.

The report examines key aspects of the U.S.-Indonesia Comprehensive Partnership: security and political, trade and investment, science and technology, and educational and socio-cultural cooperation. The event will present these findings ahead of President Obama’s visit to Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, in October. This will be followed by a panel of experts to discuss the findings.

Please RSVP to the Sumitro Chair for Southeast Asia Studies by September 24 at noon.
