Please join the CSIS Economics Program, in partnership with the Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA), for panel discussions about the implications of China’s 14th Five Year Plan and dual circulation strategy on China’s technology self-sufficiency strategy and role in global supply chains, as well as how the U.S. and Japan can cooperate to secure high-tech supply chains and emerging technology R&D. The event will feature introductory remarks from Ambassador Kenichiro Sasae, the President of JIIA and former Japanese Ambassador to the United States.
