U.S.-ROK Strategic Vision Group Press Briefing on Results and Findings

Please join us at a public release of the Republicof Korea-United States STRENGTHEN THE ALLIANCE, ENLARGE THE PARTNERSHIP, a track II report outlining specific policy recommendations regarding the ROK-U.S. bilateral relationship.

The objective of the Vision Group is to chart out a future roadmap for the U.S.-ROK alliance. The expert community in both countries convened to prepare a short report that seeks to build on the two previous ROK-U.S. alliance joint statements. The final product will be published and submitted to the both U.S. and Korean governments.

The primary authors of the report are Dr. Victor Cha, Senior Adviser and Korea Chair, CSIS Professor and Director, Asian Studies Program, Georgetown University , Dr. Choi Kang Vice President, Asan Institute for Policy Studies , Dr. Chun Chaesung, Chair, Asia Security Initiative Research Center, East Asia Institute; Professor, Seoul National University, and Mr. Scott Snyder, Senior Fellow for Korea Studies, Council on Foreign Relations.
