Views of Young Russian Women
Sarah Mendelson and Ted Gerber (University of Wisconsin-Madison) report results of a benchmark survey of 2,004 Russian women (ages 16-34), conducted in spring 2008, regarding knowledge, attitudes and experiences with human trafficking, prostitution, and discrimination and harassment in the workplace and institutes of educational.
They discuss the policy implications of their findings for civil society, the Russian government and the next U.S. administration.
