The War in Ukraine in 2025

December 12, 2024 • 2:00 – 3:00 pm EST

Please join the CSIS Europe, Russia, and Eurasia Program on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 2:00pm EDT for a conversation on the war in Ukraine.

Max Bergmann and Maria Snegovaya, both with the CSIS Europe, Russia, and Eurasia Program, will be joined by Michael Kofman, Senior Fellow in the Russia and Eurasia Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, to discuss where the conflict may be headed in the year to come. With a new administration in Washington and political turmoil across Europe, Russia continuing to make grinding gains on the battlefield, and calls for some sort of negotiated settlement rising, the next six months could prove critical to the future direction of the conflict.

This event is online-only.

This event is made possible by a grant from Carnegie Corporation of New York.
