The Way Forward: A Conversation with H.E. Ayman Safadi, Foreign Minister of Jordan

The Israeli-Hamas war has claimed the lives of more than 1,400 Israelis and 5,000 Gazans and a worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza threatens the lives of thousands more. Actions of Iranian proxy groups threaten to spread the violence further.

In the midst of the ongoing conflict, the United States is working with its Arab allies to prevent further escalation. Jordan, a long-standing U.S. partner, plays an important role in facilitating regional diplomacy and humanitarian aid to Palestinian civilians.
